I prefer taking the train tracks from West Point. You only need a Propane Torch, Welder's mask, and axe if the trees are too close to the tracks by the barricades. Fewer zeds, and you don't have to deal with the car wrecks.

I wouldn't necessarily survive but if I was from Kentucky I'd own a lotta ammo and spare beef jerky I'm not saying id survive the zombies have completely overrun the world but I would be far more capable than the starting character overall

Those zombie heckers can take a sledgehammer directly to the skull and get back up either your character is weak (which is more accurate) or the zombies are super powered

This is probably the best high level Zomboid play I've seen; sprinters are tough as hell and even after 150+ hours of playing I get my ass handed to me by them. Wish there was a setting in between sprinters and the default speed.

Does snow make guns quieter in this game

I tired of looking how to harvest crops video. I am newbie to this game and i tried to gardening and my plant says seed bearing but this is no "Harvest" option if you right click, only remove.

Just get the books, easy peasy. Then make 20 wood traps which is just planks and nails, toss cabbages in them. After 24 hours will have trapping 2. Just like that. Very easy to level if you farm.

When people start playing for 'realism' with how they PvP (IE not just being a mass murdering griefing fucking psychopath) then you can talk about 'realism' for the other game mechanics. This zombie apocalypse would be easy to survive if you are immune to the airbotne strain. Especially if you live in america. The land is huge, and there are guns everywhere. Raiders and bandits would be the biggest threat but they would be few and far between.

No to the tetris inventory. I would mod it back to the original or quit the game straight away.

Another funny thing is the developers decided to not release all the tools they have for NPCs when they release animal tech. They know modders would cook up insane npcs with the tech they had and wouldnt buy the game in the future npc update, quote sad.

Yea the dev time is ridiculous, even if they release b42 this summer, it doesnt add enough. B43 will be huge though, but i guarantee it will take another 2 years

I feel like you should be able to combine high level electrical and crafting skills to build windmills and waterwheels to create a source of electricity to charge batteries with and if you have high electrical and metal skills you should be able to make a battery rack to power your base.

game isnt well optimized and has little to no content. Its literally upheld by the modding community. how are random moders/coders pumping out content for the game in days/weeks, while the dev team with 100 mil+ in funding cant? lol i dont believe these guys.

That is my favorite spot for a safe house in rosewood. It’s relatively safe and is easy to fence off, the tress right there are enough for the frames and walls.

Just lost a character today, both water and electricity shut down at the same time, while I was really far in downtown West Point looking for a vehicle. I fought an horde, got bitten, managed to come back to my base with a truck that was located only 200m from where I got bitten. I tried saving my character by chopping off his arm but it was near the shoulder, he died within seconds of a major blood loss while he was suturing his arm. Rip Andy Numbers, you were a good character that went through some intense shit up until the end!

If you have the skill books, plenty supplies and a safe base you might aswell.

There is a storage room on the left hand side that's not obvious to find that has a small cache of guns and ammo. its between the garage and the security room.

Cooking Tips: 1. You should cook/boil each ingredient separately, before combining them (like making a stew for example) to get way more exp. 12 ingredients? That is 12x the exp as opposed to just putting them altogether and cooking them at once. 2. You can boil a Rotten Egg, and turn it back into a Fresh Egg, no matter how old the Rotten Egg is. 3. Spoiled Milk can still be used to make the cure spray for one of the crop diseases. What tips do you know?

A better way is using cars, you drive where you wanna loot, choose a open place on the road too Setup the pipe bombs then Drive in there honking until you got every Zombie in die area behind you and then you just slowly drive too the bombs with them all behind you and detonate it
